Job summary

Tyson Foods in New London, WI is seeking a maintenance technician to monitor, repair, and keep all refrigeration and utility systems running efficiently on the 3rd shift. The role emphasizes safe work practices, documentation in CMMS/SAP, and collaboration with a fast-paced production team.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of mechanic work experience or completion of an industrial maintenance training program, be able to perform physically demanding tasks, and be willing to work overtime

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of mechanic work experience.
• Graduate of an industrial maintenance training program (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months).
• Must be able to perform physical requirements and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Complete all utilities maintenance.
• Perform all necessary documentation of activities (CMMS/SAP).
• Install equipment on all utility systems.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
• Keep all work areas clean.
• Comply with safety, GMP and SQF requirements.
• Ability to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
• Possibility to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
