Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our pork processing facility. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment across departments, including conveyors, trolley systems, rendering machinery, and hydraulic systems.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 60+ pounds, work in cold, damp or hot environments, and be available for 3rd shift with overtime as needed. Prior training or experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, PLC, welding, and related areas is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year on-the-job training or related work experience.
• Experience in at least two general maintenance areas listed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment and assets.
• Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery.
• Read manuals and document work on scheduling sheets.
• Complete computer-based training modules as required.
