Job summary

Tyson Foods in Green Forest, AR is seeking a Refrigeration Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance of plant equipment, execute preventative repairs, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

This role requires readiness to work overtime and weekends, lift up to 40 lbs, and participate in safety procedures including SCBA usage; prior refrigeration experience or industrial refrigeration training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Industrial maintenance training or equivalent experience preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor in coordinating daily department responsibilities and communicating instructions to the team.
• Provide maintenance support with supervision to ensure safe operation of equipment and teams.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
• Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
• Apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to production equipment.
• Interact with plant personnel to achieve goals.
• Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.
