Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment across our facilities. You will work to keep production running, perform preventive maintenance, and document work orders in accordance with Tyson policies.

This role requires basic mechanical skills, a minimum of 6 months maintenance experience (apprenticeship or technical schooling considered), and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Third shift availability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in maintenance.
• Maintenance apprenticeship or technical school degree may substitute for experience.
• Industrial maintenance or mechanical certificate preferred.
• Social Security Number required for application.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and assets while following Tyson policies.
• Maintain a safe work environment and complete on-the-job paperwork.
• Communicate effectively across management levels; be prepared for the 3rd shift.
