Job summary

Tyson Foods in Clarksville, AR is seeking a 2nd Shift Refrigeration Maintenance Lead. The role supports the refrigeration and maintenance supervisor, assigns techs, and handles preventative maintenance and repairs to keep production running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of mechanical experience or completion of an industrial maintenance program, with HVAC, welding, electrical, and hydraulics experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of documented mechanical work experience or graduation from an industrial maintenance training program.
• Experience in HVAC, general mechanics, maintenance, welding, electrical, and hydraulics preferred.
• Read, write, and communicate effectively; able to perform math calculations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist refrigeration and maintenance supervisor with personnel and equipment.
• Assign refrigeration techs to equipment during process periods.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and breakdowns.
• Train refrigeration and maintenance techs on equipment.
• Follow-up on parts inventory and outstanding POs.
• Fill in for absenteeism or assisting in other areas of the plant.
