Job summary

Gore seeks a Manufacturing Technician for the Fabrics Coatings team at our Elkton, Maryland facility, working the 11:00 PM–7:30 AM shift (Sunday night through Friday morning). The role emphasizes operating and maintaining complex equipment to meet production goals and deliver high-quality products.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience operating and maintaining complex equipment.
Attentiveness to detail with good documentation practices.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
Ability to identify, conceptualize, and solve problems.
Ability to follow and advocate safety practices, including PPE usage.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and alternate shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment with a focus on quality and production goals.
Follow safety practices and advocate use of PPE.
Interact with cross-functional teams including shop associates, process engineers, and development engineers.
Make informed quality decisions based on product documentation and quality systems.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts and suggest process enhancements.
Perform data entry (Nemo, EAM, and HMI Interface) and understand core manufacturing technology.
