Job summary

Gore is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join the Manufacturing Team, primarily supporting the Pegasus coating line at the Elkton, Maryland facility on the Evening Shift. The role emphasizes best-in-class manufacturing principles in a high-technology, high-quality culture.

Qualifications

• Work cross-functionally with shop associates, engineers, and new-product-development teams.
• Mechanical drawings interpretation and use of hand tools.
• Follow SOPs and quality system requirements.
• Make detailed, accurate observations to support product quality and process control.
• Prioritize tasks and adapt to changing production demands and R&D needs.
• Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong computer proficiency.
• Physically able to lift, push, and pull up to 35 lbs.
• Willing to work overtime, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Learn, practice, and promote Gore culture.
• Ensure chemical handling and disposal is safe and environmentally conscious.
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain complex process equipment.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot product both on and offline.
• Maintain detailed, timely records.
• Follow work instructions, SOPs, and quality system modules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including shop, process engineers, and NPD.
• Multi-task and operate several pieces of equipment safely.
• Follow safety policies.
• Work independently or in a team.
