Job summary

Gore is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support the Pegasus coating line at the Elkton, Maryland facility on the Evening Shift. You will apply best-in-class manufacturing principles in a high-technology environment.

Qualifications

• Cross-functional collaboration with shop associates, process engineers, and NPD teams.
• Mechanical aptitude to read drawings, use hand tools, and troubleshoot equipment.
• Ability to follow SOPs and quality system requirements.
• Detail-oriented observations to support product quality and process control.
• Able to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing production demands.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong computer proficiency.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 35 lbs and overtime availability.

Responsibilities

• Learn, practice, support, and teach Gore culture.
• Ensure chemical handling and disposal is safe and environmentally conscious.
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain complex process equipment.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot product on and offline.
• Perform detailed and accurate record keeping in a timely manner.
• Follow work instructions, SOP guidelines, and other modules of the quality system.
• Interact with cross-functional groups including shop associates and engineers.
• Multitask and operate several pieces of equipment safely.
• Practice and advocate safety policies.
• Work independently and in a team.
