Job summary

W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join the Flexible High Performing Manufacturing team on the 3rd shift at Elk Mills 5 in Elkton, Maryland. You will cross-train across multiple areas to meet operational objectives.

Typical hours are 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with a $19–$37 hourly pay range and a $2/hour shift differential for evenings, nights, and weekends. Benefits start on day one.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating manufacturing equipment.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills and ability to learn MES/ERP systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot, record data, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Follow quality systems, work instructions, and SOPs to meet customer requirements.
• Identify and participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing efforts.
• Follow safety practices and complete monthly and yearly safety training and area training documents.
• Work independently and in a diverse team to contribute to a high-performing environment.
