Job summary

Peet's Coffee Inc. in Alameda, CA, seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment and facility systems at the roasting plant to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in industrial maintenance, strong electro-mechanical aptitude, CMMS experience, and the ability to work a 3rd shift (8:00pm–4:30am). Wages range 32–45 per hour, with benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Electro-mechanical troubleshooting of plant equipment.
• Experience with CMMS or willingness to learn.
• Self-starter, organized and team-oriented.
• Bilingual skills are a plus; boiler experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment according to schedule.
• Diagnose and repair filling and assembly lines as needed.
• Interpret and utilize system error messages on related equipment.
• Understand roasting equipment operation including HMIs.
• Work on bag slitters and pallet lifters; read electrical diagrams.
• Repair facilities items, doors, lights, sinks, and grounds maintenance.
• Assist with roasting equipment maintenance and line changeovers.
• Use multimeters and CMMS to document maintenance activities.
