Job summary

RR Donnelley is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic 3 for the Monroe, WI facility on the 3rd shift (approx. 11:00pm–7:00am). The role entails troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining forms and labels machinery to keep production on schedule.

You’ll implement a preventative maintenance program and support PM activities with the maintenance team. The position requires 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience, knowledge of three-phase electrical systems up to 480V, and the ability to read

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years hands-on maintenance experience in a high-speed manufacturing setting.
• Proven ability to diagnose electrical systems up to 480V and perform mechanical repairs.
• Ability to read schematics and manuals specific to industrial printing machinery.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA regulations.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain presses, die-cutters, coaters, rewinders, and related machinery.
• Develop and implement Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs with Operations Manager.
• Perform scheduled PM on all production equipment and site systems.
• execute repairs of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems (up to 480V).
• Read equipment manuals and electrical schematics for overhauls and maintenance.
• Assist with basic welding, fabrication, and alignment of components.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and process control equipment.
• Log work orders, labor hours, and parts in CMMS.
• Adhere to Lockout/Tagout procedures and maintain clean work areas.
