Job summary

Liberty Diversified International manufactures corrugated products and is seeking a Machine Operator II for our Fort Worth, TX facility. The role focuses on safely producing quality products, leading a small crew, and maximizing machine efficiencies by proper setup, quality checks, and issue communication.

You will report to a Production Supervisor in a full-time position with a starting pay of $24.00 per hour plus shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 3+ years of manufacturing experience OR 4+ years manufacturing experience in lieu of education.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16" accuracy.
• Comfort with computer use: typing, printing, data entry.
• Math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• OT, weekend, and holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Set up orders per customer specs and prepare the correct tools.
• Perform first article and in-process quality checks on produced articles.
• Enter production metrics into the electronic system to track progress, quality, maintenance and downtime.
• Communicate equipment issues to leaders; troubleshoot and problem-solve to maximize efficiency.
• Provide guidance to Assistant Machine Operators as needed.
• Assist with minor repairs in partnership with maintenance.
