Job summary

Liberty Packaging is seeking an Assistant Machine Operator II at our Fort Worth, TX facility. You will support machine operators, help set up orders, perform quality checks, and assist with occasional finishing tasks to ensure efficient production of corrugated products.

The role reports to a Production Supervisor and requires good math, reading detailed instructions, and flexibility for overtime and weekends. Training will cover safety and continuous improvement practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or 1+ year manufacturing experience.
• Ability to apply basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Available for overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist setup of orders per customer specs and prep tools.
• Aid quality checks and inspect first articles and ongoing orders.
• Monitor production metrics and downtime.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and communicate issues.
