Job summary

Liberty Diversified International’s Houston facility is seeking an Assistant Machine Operator II to support machine operators, set up orders, and perform quality checks for corrugated products. You will work in a small team under a Production Supervisor and may assist with gluers, stitchers, slitter, and saw tasks as needed.

This full-time role requires a High School diploma or GED, basic math and reading skills, and availability for overtime, with a comprehensive benefits package and growth

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required or equivalent experience
• Must be able to use basic math for order calculations and measurements
• Experience reading and following detailed work instructions

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup of orders according to customer specifications and prep tools
• Participate in quality checks by inspecting articles and monitoring materials
• Support production metrics tracking for rates, quality, downtime and maintenance
• Communicate equipment issues to leadership and assist with troubleshooting
• Assist maintenance with minor repairs as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow safety procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
