Job summary

Liberty Diversified International, Inc. in Haltom City, TX is seeking an Assistant Machine Operator II to safely produce quality corrugated products. You will support machine operators, set up orders, perform quality checks, stack orders and communicate issues. Occasional finishing tasks may be required at times.

The role reports to a Production Supervisor at our Fort Worth, TX facility and requires teamwork in a small group environment with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or 1+ years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Overtime, weekends and holidays availability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup of orders according to customer specs and prepare tools for jobs.
• Perform quality checks on articles and first articles; monitor quality throughout production.
• Monitor production metrics to track rates, quality, downtime and maintenance needs.
• Communicate equipment issues to leadership and assist with troubleshooting.
• Assist with minor repairs with maintenance team as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following post order cleaning processes.
• Follow plant safety procedures and participate in continuous improvement where possible.
• Take on other duties as assigned.
