Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) in Lake Orion, MI seeks a skilled Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift to maintain and repair building systems, process equipment, and mechanical infrastructure, ensuring uptime, safety, and production continuity. You'll report to Facility and Operations Managers and work with advanced mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires Journeyman certification in HVAC, electrical, machine repair, or mechanical crafts, plus hands-on

Qualifications

• Journeyman certification required in HVAC, Electrical, Machine Repair, or Mechanical craft areas.
• Facility maintenance experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with pumps, motors, speed and feed systems, and hydraulics.
• Proficiency with HVAC/R systems including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, indoor air quality, and temperature control.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with detail-oriented approach.
• Availability for overtime, weekends, and call-in work 24 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing process equipment including thermal units and control systems.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Maintain HVAC/R systems and related components.
• Service and troubleshoot pumps, motors, hydraulics, and related systems.
• Manage building automation and monitoring systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide spare parts inventories and respond to work orders within 24 hours.
