Job summary

JLL is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support large-scale manufacturing facilities in Lake Orion, MI. You will be a hands-on technical expert maintaining and repairing critical equipment, building systems, and process machinery to ensure uptime and safety.

Reporting to Facility and Operations Managers, you will handle HVAC/R systems, pumps, motors, hydraulics, and building automation. This role offers growth within JLL's operations network and requires overtime, weekend work, and 24-hour

Qualifications

• Journeyman certification in HVAC, Electrical, Machine Repair, or Mechanical craft areas.
• Experience maintaining industrial/manufacturing facilities.
• Hands-on experience with pumps, motors, hydraulics, and speed/feeder systems.
• Proficiency with HVAC/R: HVAC, refrigeration, IAQ, temperature control.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work on ladders, outdoor/indoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing process equipment and building systems.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance per schedule and PM metrics.
• Maintain and repair HVAC/R systems and associated components.
• Service and troubleshoot pumps, motors, hydraulics, meters, and related controls.
• Manage building automation and monitoring systems for optimal performance.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and respond to 24-hour call-in requests.
