Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Lake Orion, MI is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift to keep manufacturing facilities running reliably. You will perform maintenance and repairs on process equipment, HVAC/R systems, pumps, motors, and building automation, ensuring uptime and safety.

The role requires a journeyman certification in HVAC, electrical, or mechanical crafts and hands-on experience in industrial environments.

Qualifications

Journeyman certification in HVAC, Electrical, Machine Repair, or Mechanical craft areas.
Industrial facility maintenance experience.
Hands-on experience with pumps, motors, speed and feed systems, and hydraulics.
Proficiency with HVAC/R systems including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, indoor air quality, and temperature control.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with detail-oriented approach.
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, use hand/power tools, and work in varying conditions.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and pre/post scheduled hours.
Available for 24-hour call-in work and able to operate in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on process equipment and thermal systems across manufacturing facilities.
Execute preventative and predictive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
Maintain and repair HVAC/R systems and related components.
Service pumps, motors, hydraulics, and meters including calibration.
Manage building automation and monitoring systems to ensure optimal performance.
Maintain spare parts inventories and support 24-hour help desk requests.
