Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Lake Orion, MI is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift to keep manufacturing facilities running reliably. You will perform maintenance and repairs on process equipment, HVAC/R systems, pumps, motors, and building automation, ensuring uptime and safety.

The role requires a journeyman certification in HVAC, electrical, or mechanical crafts and hands-on experience in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certification in HVAC, Electrical, Machine Repair, or Mechanical craft areas.
• Industrial facility maintenance experience.
• Hands-on experience with pumps, motors, speed and feed systems, and hydraulics.
• Proficiency with HVAC/R systems including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, indoor air quality, and temperature control.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with detail-oriented approach.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, use hand/power tools, and work in varying conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and pre/post scheduled hours.
• Available for 24-hour call-in work and able to operate in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on process equipment and thermal systems across manufacturing facilities.
• Execute preventative and predictive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Maintain and repair HVAC/R systems and related components.
• Service pumps, motors, hydraulics, and meters including calibration.
• Manage building automation and monitoring systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain spare parts inventories and support 24-hour help desk requests.
