Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd shift at our Orion, MI facility. You will maintain and repair manufacturing process equipment, HVAC/R systems, and building automation to ensure uptime and safety. The role requires hands-on experience with pumps, motors, hydraulics, and preventive maintenance.

This is a union position under the UAW with a comprehensive benefits package. Overtime, weekends, and call-in availability are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certification required in HVAC, Electrical, Machine Repair, or Mechanical crafts.
• Facility maintenance experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with pumps, motors, speed and feed systems, hydraulics.
• Proficiency with HVAC/R including temperature control and air quality.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing process equipment and systems.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Maintain HVAC/R systems including temperature control and air quality.
• Troubleshoot pumps, motors, hydraulics, and related equipment.
• Manage building automation and monitoring systems for optimal performance.
• Maintain spare parts inventories and complete 24h help-desk work orders.
