Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the Orion, MI area to support large-scale facilities and manufacturing operations. The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance of HVAC/R systems, pumps, motors, hydraulics, and building automation to ensure uptime and safety.

You will work with a team under Facility and Operations Managers, performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance and supporting a 24-hour call-in schedule as needed.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certification in HVAC, Electrical, Machine Repair, or Mechanical craft areas.
• Strong hands-on maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with HVAC/R systems and building utilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing process equipment.
• Execute preventative and predictive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Maintain and repair HVAC/R systems and related components.
• Service and troubleshoot pumps, motors, hydraulics, and related systems.
• Manage building automation and monitoring systems and maintain spare parts inventories.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours and document PM activities.
