JLL is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for on-site work in Lake Orion, MI. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment, HVAC/R systems, and building automation to ensure uptime and safety. The position operates on a 1st shift schedule within a union environment and offers strong benefits.

You will perform preventive and preventive maintenance tasks, manage inventories, and collaborate with Operations Managers to support productivity in a large-scale manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certification in HVAC, Electrical, Machine Repair, or Mechanical crafts.
• Facility maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with pumps, motors, speed/feed systems, hydraulics.
• Proficient with HVAC/R systems including IAQ and temperature control.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment; work on ladders; use tools; endure varied conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and after-hours as needed.
• Available for call-in work 24/7.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing process equipment including thermal units with control systems.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance on building systems and mechanical equipment.
• Maintain and repair HVAC/R systems including IAQ and temperature control.
• Service and troubleshoot pumps, motors, hydraulics, and related systems with calibration.
• Manage building automation and monitoring systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide and maintain spare parts inventories for maintenance operations.
• Close help desk tickets within 24 hours and complete PM reporting per client metrics.
