Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a skilled technician to perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of automation systems in a manufacturing setting. You will work with PLCs, servo drives, encoders, and HMI interfaces, ensuring reliable operation of equipment and safety protocols.

The role requires hands-on wiring, programming in ladder logic, and ongoing preventive maintenance. Candidates should have PLC experience, be comfortable with 480V 3-phase power, and be willing

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience with PLCs and servo systems.
• Experience with packaging equipment in manufacturing preferred.
• Proficient with electrical schematics and troubleshooting electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC I/O modules and control wiring.
• Troubleshoot analog and digital controls in 480V 3-phase power systems, motors, VFDs, servo drives, and soft starts.
• Maintain and troubleshoot encoders and load cells; program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces.
• Modify PLC logic via ladder programming and update HMI graphics; diagnose networking protocols (Profibus, serial, Ethernet).
• Diagnose and perform preventive maintenance on Laser Guided Vehicles, conveyors and production equipment.
