Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift in Eagan, MN to diagnose, repair, and maintain production machinery. You will interpret blueprints, perform lubrication and inspections, and coordinate with operators and supervisors.

The role requires technical training and hands-on expertise in mechanical and electrical systems. Qualifying candidates have a 2-year technical background, experience in a manufacturing setting, and solid diagnostic abilities.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical college or equivalent experience.
• Industrial/manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Computer literate with basic diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose machinery malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Communicate repair status to operators, supervisors, engineers, and managers.
• Reconcile work assignments at end of the shift.
• Perform lubrication procedures and electro-mechanical inspections for preventative maintenance.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and replace motors, gearboxes, servos, switches/sensors, and drives.
