Job summary

Slate Automotive LLC is seeking a highly organized 3PL Partner Manager to lead our warehousing and logistics relationship with our 3PL provider, ensuring accurate inventory, timely fulfillment, and SLA adherence.

You will guide a team of Fulfillment Specialists, coordinate with Digital Systems, Customer Service, Sourcing, and business units, and drive cost-efficient improvements through metrics and analysis. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in warehousing, logistics, and material management, preferably with 3PLs.
• 2+ years of prior manager experience in a supply chain/logistics role.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, hands-on experience accepted as substitute.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Slate to our warehousing and logistics (3PL) partner.
• Lead a team of 3PL Fulfillment Specialists responsible for warehousing and fulfillment.
• Act as primary liaison between the 3PL and Slate cross-functional teams; own the commercial relationship.
• Develop and monitor 3PL performance metrics; address issues to optimize operations and cost-efficiency.
• Drive 3PL decision-making to improve effectiveness and alignment with SLA.
• Track 3PL invoices against orders shipped, receipts, and inventory levels.
• Monitor monthly actual costs vs plan; suggest process improvements to reduce costs.
• Monitor outbound packaging needs and inventory at the 3PL; implement cycle counting program.
• Support 3PL ecosystem development for Service Parts, Accessories, and Apparel and Merch.
