Job summary

Slate is seeking a Logistics Operations Specialist to coordinate inbound and outbound supply chain activities in our fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. You will work with suppliers, carriers and internal production teams to ensure on-time delivery, accurate inventory, and compliance with hazmat, EDI and TMS requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.
• 1–3 years of logistics or supply chain experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Understanding of incoterms 2020.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and optimize inbound and outbound logistics to support production.
• Track OTIF, freight cost per unit, and carrier performance metrics.
• Support data integrity for Transportation Management System (TMS) and assist forecasting and budgeting.
• Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
