Construction Material Testing is seeking a trained 3D scanning technician to operate handheld scanners (Artec Leo/Eva/Space Spider) on concrete, steel, and machine parts projects. You will capture data on site, verify completeness, and process in Artec Studio for scan-to-CAD deliverables.

You will build reports, maps, and coordination documents, traveling to regional hubs or sites. Training and certification support are provided, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience operating handheld structured-light or laser scanners on real projects.
• Proficiency with Artec Studio or similar scan-processing software.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and fabrication drawings.
• Comfort on active construction sites and in industrial plants; ability to lift/carry equipment.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute handheld scans of rebar, embeds, structures, and machine parts.
• Control drift on large objects using reference features and overlaps.
• Verify data capture completeness on site before leaving.
• Process scans and export to STL, OBJ, E57, and CAD formats.
• Produce deviation maps, measurement reports, and coordinate reports.
