Construction Material Testing seeks a 3D scanning technician to operate handheld scanners (Artec Leo, Eva, or Space Spider), capture data on site, and deliver meshes and scan-to-CAD files for clients.

You will travel to regional hubs, work on construction sites and plant facilities, and have opportunities for progression as the service line grows. Training and certification sponsorship are provided where available.

Formación

• Hands-on experience operating handheld scanners on real projects.
• Familiarity with Artec Studio or similar scan-processing software.
• CAD reading ability with SolidWorks, Fusion, Inventor or Revit.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and execute handheld 3D scans of structures and embeds before pours.
• Control drift on large objects with reference features and overlapping zones.
• Verify capture completeness on-site before leaving.
• Process scans in Artec Studio: registration, fusion, cleanup, texture, and export to STL, OBJ, E57, and CAD formats.
• Produce deviation color maps, measurement reports, crack maps, pit-depth tables, and anchor bolt reports.
