Job summary

NFI is seeking a Transportation Supervisor on the 2nd shift to coordinate the dedicated fleet, maximize driver and equipment utilization, and exceed customer expectations through dispatch operations and reporting to customers and management.

You will supervise staff, manage scheduling, oversee data entry in TMW, support invoicing processes, and drive efficiency improvements across safety and HR processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field; 1–5 years supervisory experience.
• Experience with TMW and PeopleNet preferred.
• Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred at select locations.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day supervision to staff including coordinators, clerks, spotters, and drivers.
• Manages driver scheduling process and payroll data.
• Coordinates load completions and data entry into TMW.
• Coordinates invoicing processes and reconciles carrier invoices.
• Ensures efficient equipment utilization and maintenance coordination.
• Drafts daily end-of-shift reports and supports process improvements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field
