Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Transportation Supervisor for the Petersburg, VA area on 3rd shift. You will supervise coordinators, clerks, spotters and drivers while directing dispatch operations and reporting requirements to customers and management.

You will manage driver scheduling, payroll data, and ensure efficient use of equipment, with duties extending to invoicing coordination and safety program adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 1–5 years supervisory experience.
• Experience with TMW and PeopleNet preferred.
• Strong MS Office and timekeeping knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff including coordinators, clerks, spotters and drivers.
• Manage driver scheduling and payroll data.
• Coordinate load completions and data entry into TMW.
• Coordinate customer invoicing and reconcile common carrier invoices.
• Ensure equipment is utilized efficiently.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance with management and fleet.
• Draft and submit daily end-of-shift report.
• Recommend programs to improve operations.
