Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to keep our fleet in top condition. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure timely repairs to meet safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High School degree or equivalent is required.
• Experience: Experience as a maintenance technician or comparable education.
• Tools: Must provide own tools to perform job duties.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with truck systems and diagnostic tools.
• Compliance: Knowledge of DOT, EPA, ICC and OSHA rules and regulations.
• Willingness: Willing to participate in training and shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build, rebuild and repair all parts of company equipment as required.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or other failures in trucks or related equipment.
• Read precision instruments and use electronic diagnostic tools.
• Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis on component parts and systems.
• Weld as needed for truck repairs (horizontal/vertical welding).
• Comply with DOT, EPA, ICC and OSHA regulations.
• Perform duties as assigned by management.
