Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to keep our fleet safe and compliant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with maintenance on trucking equipment preferred.
• Must provide own basic tools and be able to read and interpret work orders.
• Knowledge of DOT, EPA, ICC and OSHA rules and regulations is required.
• Ability to read precision instruments and use diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain company equipment in a safe, timely, cost-effective manner.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and other system failures on trucks and trailers.
• Read precision instruments and use electronic diagnostic tools.
• Perform repairs and welding as needed on truck components.
• Adhere to DOT, EPA, ICC and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
