Job summary

RR Donnelley is seeking a Shift Coordinator 2 for the 2nd shift (2pm - 10pm) in Missouri. This full-time role oversees shipping/receiving and material management activities, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to production schedules across a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Able to consistently apply policies, procedures, regulations, and program objectives.
• Proficient with MS Office and related software.
• Excellent oral and written communication across departments.
• Strong organizational skills with deadline management.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and audit work processes to confirm production specs are met.
• Maintain positive relationships and guide employees to the appropriate manager.
• Ensure safety, quality standards, policies and procedures are followed.
• Inspect products/shipments to verify conformance to specifications.
• Review machine setups and production samples as necessary.
• Identify and report opportunities for continual improvement.
• Coordinate training for new employees and contractors.
• Update/maintain shift schedules and attendance records.
• Oversee junior staff and review work for accuracy.
• Attend production meetings to coordinate activities.
