RRD Company in Illinois is seeking a Shift Coordinator 2 for Shipping/Receiving on the 2nd shift (2pm – 10pm). This full-time role requires guiding employees, auditing production processes, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

You will inspect shipments, approve machine setups, train new staff, and support continuous improvement while maintaining shift schedules. Compensation ranges from $26.26 to $35.05 per hour, with benefits and overtime possible.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Ability to apply policies, procedures, regulations, and program objectives.
• Proficient with technology including computers and software such as MS Office and MAC word processing.
• Excellent oral and written communication across departments.
• Strong organizational skills to manage deadlines and priorities.
• Lift up to 25 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs frequently, and up to 50+ lbs rarely.
• Basic arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply, divide; compute rate, ratio, and percentages.
• Ability to interact with a variety of customers and co-workers.

Responsabilidades

• Provide instruction and guidance to employees and audit production processes.
• Maintain positive relationships and direct employees to the appropriate manager.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards; report hazards.
• Inspect products and shipments for conformance to specifications.
• Review and approve machine setups, production samples, and shipments.
• Identify opportunities for continual improvement.
• Attend production meetings and coordinate production activities.
• Coordinate or conduct training for new employees and contractors.
• Support the Quality Policy and Objectives.
• Oversee junior staff and audit work for accuracy.
• Update shift schedules in the attendance system.
• Share expertise and train others.
• Carry out other responsibilities as delegated by management in alignment with evolving business needs.
