Job summary

FreezPak Logistics, LLC is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for the 2nd shift at our Suffolk, VA facility. You will assist with loading/unloading, verify shipments, and support drivers while ensuring accurate paperwork.

This full-time role requires high school diploma and familiarity with basic warehouse software; strong attention to detail and clear communication are essential to keep inventory and shipments moving safely and on schedule in a cold-storage environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in shipping and receiving in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading/unloading and verify shipments against shipping documents.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff for timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Greet drivers and provide guidance on procedures, paperwork, and safety.
• Prepare shipping documents and labels for outbound shipments.
• Maintain inventory records and perform counts; reconcile discrepancies.
• Communicate issues to Warehouse Manager or Logistics Supervisor promptly.
• Adhere to safety procedures and PPE and comply with company policies.
