Job summary

United States Cold Storage is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate for the 2nd shift in our warehouse. The role involves coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, communicating with carriers, and ensuring accurate documentation and dock door assignments.

Responsibilities include using the WMS to process receipts, verifying driver paperwork, and maintaining accurate product location records while upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced cold-chain environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented.
• Able to interpret packing slips.
• Experience using a WMS to process inbound/outbound goods.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with carriers regarding inbound and outbound movements.
• Enter data from carrier paperwork to process inbounds in the WMS.
• Verify driver identification, assign dock doors, and check drivers in/out.
• Know product location to assign dock doors and ensure accurate order completion.
• Identify overages, shortages, or damaged materials and report to supervisor.
