Job summary

FreezPak Logistics is seeking a 2nd Shift Main Gate Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Jacksonville, FL to manage vehicle flow, verify driver credentials, and ensure shipping documents accuracy. This Full Time role runs Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 11 PM and reports to the Operations Manager.

You will perform driver check-in, document control, dock scheduling, security checks, and daily reporting using our logistics software.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center.
• High school diploma or GED; additional logistics qualifications are a plus.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; proficient with computers and logistics software; knowledge of safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Authenticate driver identification and match credentials with delivery schedules.
• Log all vehicle movements in and out of the facility using logistics software.
• Issue visitor badges and direct traffic to docks and parking areas.
• Ensure drivers adhere to operational and safety standards.
• Validate bills of lading and shipping docs for accuracy; coordinate with warehouse ops to optimize loading/unloading times.
• Manage dock scheduling and adjust as needed; report discrepancies.
• Oversee CCTV surveillance and report security incidents; ensure vehicle safety checks and compliance.
• Serve as primary point of contact for drivers and visitors at the gate; relay information to internal teams.
• Maintain records of gate activities and produce daily reports on traffic and security checks.
