Job summary

Micro-Tronics, Inc. in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Press Operator on 2nd shift to set up and operate rubber molding equipment and produce high-quality components. You will follow work instructions, perform in-process inspections, and maintain production records to ensure traceability.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year manufacturing experience, is mechanically inclined, and detail-oriented, with basic knowledge of blueprints and inspection tools. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of manufacturing experience, rubber molding preferred.
• Basic understanding of blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience using hand tools and inspection equipment (calipers, gauges).
• Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to recognize visual defects and quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate rubber molding equipment following work instructions and process guidelines.
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, snap gauges, etc.).
• Visually inspect parts and identify non-conforming products.
• Maintain accurate production records, including quantities and inspection results.
• Monitor equipment performance and report any issues.
• Work with leads and supervisors to troubleshoot and resolve quality or process issues.
