Job summary

Micro-Tronics is seeking a Press Operator for the 1st shift in Tempe, AZ. You will set up and operate rubber molding equipment to produce high-quality components while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, a solid understanding of blueprints and inspection tools, and the ability to work with hand tools and documentation to ensure traceability and efficiency on the line.

Qualifications

1+ year of manufacturing experience (precision or rubber molding preferred).
Basic understanding of blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Experience using hand tools and inspection equipment (calipers, gauges, etc.).

Responsibilities

Set up and operate rubber molding equipment following work instructions and process guidelines.
Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, snap gauges, etc.).
Visually inspect parts and identify non-conforming products.
Ensure proper use of materials, including adhesives and primers within shelf-life requirements.
Maintain accurate production records, including quantities and inspection results.
Complete job routers, travelers, and required documentation accurately.
Maintain proper lot control and traceability of materials and parts.
Clean and package finished products to prevent damage.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment (5S standards).
Monitor equipment performance and report any issues.
Work with leads and supervisors to troubleshoot and resolve quality or process issues.
