Job summary

Micro-Tronics is seeking a Press Operator for the 1st shift in Tempe, AZ. You will set up and operate rubber molding equipment to produce high-quality components while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, a solid understanding of blueprints and inspection tools, and the ability to work with hand tools and documentation to ensure traceability and efficiency on the line.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of manufacturing experience (precision or rubber molding preferred).
• Basic understanding of blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience using hand tools and inspection equipment (calipers, gauges, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate rubber molding equipment following work instructions and process guidelines.
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, snap gauges, etc.).
• Visually inspect parts and identify non-conforming products.
• Ensure proper use of materials, including adhesives and primers within shelf-life requirements.
• Maintain accurate production records, including quantities and inspection results.
• Complete job routers, travelers, and required documentation accurately.
• Maintain proper lot control and traceability of materials and parts.
• Clean and package finished products to prevent damage.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment (5S standards).
• Monitor equipment performance and report any issues.
• Work with leads and supervisors to troubleshoot and resolve quality or process issues.
