Job summary

Micro-Tronics, Inc. in Tempe, AZ is seeking a CNC Machinist II to safely set up and operate multiple CNC machines on aerospace components. You will read blueprints, interpret GD&T, inspect parts with precision tools, and drive quality and efficiency improvements.

The role requires extensive experience with G&M codes, tool geometry, and offsets, with a strong focus on process control and continuous improvement. Shift: 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday–Thursday, full-time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in setup and running CNC machining equipment.
• Minimum 4+ years of precision machining experience.
• Experience with G&M codes, tool geometry, and offsets.
• Strong GD&T and precision inspection capabilities.
• Experience with multi-axis or live-tooling is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and set up CNC machines to manufacture precision aerospace components.
• Read blueprints, interpret GD&T, and ensure conformance with specifications.
• Log data and perform in-process inspections with precision tools.
• Troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing processes with minimal guidance.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and adhere to quality and safety standards.
