Job summary

Micro-Tronics, Inc. in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Press Operator (1st Shift) to set up and operate rubber molding equipment, ensuring high-quality components in a production environment.

You will perform in-process inspections with calipers and gauges, maintain accurate production records, follow 5S standards, and collaborate with leads to troubleshoot quality issues, all while upholding safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of manufacturing experience (preferred in rubber molding).
• Basic understanding of blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience using hand tools and inspection equipment (calipers, gauges).
• Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to recognize visual defects and quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate rubber molding equipment following work instructions and process guidelines.
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, snap gauges, etc.).
• Visually inspect parts and identify non-conforming products.
• Maintain accurate production records, including quantities and inspection results.
• Complete job routers, travelers, and required documentation accurately.
• Maintain lot control and traceability of materials and parts.
• Clean and package finished products; ensure a safe, clean, organized work environment.
