Job summary

Peet’s Coffee in Minnesota is seeking a Production Technician – Roaster to operate roasting and grinding equipment, monitor roast profiles, and uphold quality in a fast-paced production setting.

You will work 2nd shift (3:30pm–12:00am) and have opportunities to grow through hands-on training, safety programs, and career development. Peet’s offers competitive benefits and a focus on craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Operate roasting and grinding equipment to meet daily production schedules.
• Maintain top-tier quality and food safety by following QC checks, documentation, and procedures.
• Collaborate with your team to meet goals safely and efficiently.
• Communicate equipment or process issues to appropriate departments for quick resolution.
• Take ownership of cleanliness, maintenance, and continuous improvement at your station.
• Taste, evaluate, and refine—participate in cuppings and sensory sessions to keep every roast true to its profile.
• Participate in development opportunities to grow your technical roasting and production expertise.
