Job summary

Peet’s Coffee is hiring for a Production Team Member on the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 3:30pm–midnight) in Brooklyn Center, MN. You will help run a packaging line, ensure product quality, and follow safety and GMP procedures.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 1 year in an industrial setting; coffee experience is a plus. The position offers hourly pay of $17–$18, full benefits, and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year in an industrial production facility.
• Ability to read and understand production documents and safety manuals.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Preferred: 1 year coffee industry experience.
• Preferred: 1 year food manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with the production team to ensure workplace safety and product quality while meeting production goals.
• Complete packaging tasks such as case filling, box assembly, and pallet stacking.
• Comply with all written Workplace Safety rules and other safety requirements and standards consistently.
• Comply with all written food safety Good Manufacturing Practices and other requirements and standards consistently.
• Report all safety and quality concerns to Leadership.
• Work on a packaging line with consistent speed and accuracy.
• Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality.
• Perform assigned cleaning and sanitation tasks to ensure a clean and safe work area.
• Perform assigned material management tasks to ensure an efficient, organized, and safe work area.
• Use tools and equipment correctly and maintain them with care.
• Willingness to comply with all safety rules.
• Report any tool and equipment issues to Leadership.
• Follow all written and verbal instructions.
• Attend all safety and production meetings and trainings.
• Demonstrate ability to perform tasks using computer applications.
• Demonstrate ability to perform production quality monitoring and reporting tasks.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays.
