Job summary

Peet’s Coffee in Minnesota is hiring a Production Technician – Roaster to operate roasting and grinding equipment, monitor roast profiles, and maintain strict quality standards. This hands-on role requires teamwork and a commitment to safety in a fast-paced production environment.

You will join a skilled roasting team, participate in cuppings, and expand your technical roasting knowledge through development opportunities. The schedule is 2nd shift, 3:30pm–12:00am, with pay $20–$22 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Operate roasting and grinding equipment to meet daily production schedules.
• Maintain top-tier quality and food safety by following all QC checks, documentation, and procedures.
• Collaborate closely with your team to meet goals safely and efficiently.
• Communicate equipment or process issues to the appropriate departments for quick resolution.
• Take ownership of cleanliness, maintenance, and continuous improvement at your station.
• Taste, evaluate, and refine—participate in cuppings and sensory sessions to keep every roast true to its profile.
• Participate in development opportunities to grow your technical roasting and production expertise.
