Job summary

Your Talent Team in Cedarburg, WI is seeking a Quality Control Technician on the 2nd shift to inspect high‑pressure die casting components using CMM and handheld gauges. You will perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections, drive root-cause investigations, and ensure GD&T conformance per ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.

This direct-hire role offers up to $41/hr based on experience, with a 401(k) match, performance bonuses, comprehensive benefits, and attendance PTO bonuses.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality technician experience in HPDC or metal manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T; perform root-cause investigations.
• Must reside within 45 minutes of Cedarburg, WI and be US-authorized to work.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of die cast components.
• Verify conformance using calipers, micrometers, height gauges and CMM.
• Detect defects and lead containment activities; issue NCMRs as needed.
• Review drawings and GD&T, control plans and work instructions.
• Support root-cause investigations and CAPA using quality tools.
• Assist audits, PPAP, FAI, and gauge validations per ISO 9001/IATF 16949.
