Job summary

Teasdale Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Hoopeston, IL. The role oversees a team of production workers, ensuring safe, efficient manufacturing of high-quality food products in line with schedules and standards.

You will hire, train, and develop staff, coordinate with maintenance and QA, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining accurate production records. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or lead role in food manufacturing or production operations.
• Strong knowledge of food production processes, food safety regulations, and quality management systems.
• Proven leadership and team management skills with ability to motivate and develop a diverse workforce.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional interaction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of production workers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Plan and coordinate production activities to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Monitor processes and quality controls to ensure GMP and food safety compliance.
• Collaborate with management to develop production schedules, plans, and process improvements.
• Maintain production records and enforce safety protocols including PPE usage.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
