Job summary

Teasdale Foods, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Supervisor (2nd Shift) in Hoopeston, IL to lead a team of maintenance technicians, guide preventive maintenance, and minimize downtime while upholding product quality and safety standards.

You will plan maintenance activities, troubleshoot equipment, control expenses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive reliability and continuous improvement in a food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a supervisory/lead role in maintenance or equivalent.
• Experience in food manufacturing is preferred and beneficial.
• Knowledge of GMPs and food safety regulations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance technicians and provide guidance and training.
• Plan preventive maintenance, work orders, and schedules to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with production to minimize impact on schedules.
• Inspect machinery and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and coordinate repairs with vendors.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and inventory.
• Enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance.
• Support continuous improvement for reliability and efficiency.
• Monitor maintenance spend within budget and optimize resources.
• Provide regular reports on activities and KPIs.
