Job summary

Teasdale Foods, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator for 2nd shift in Hoopeston, IL. The role focuses on supporting safety, quality, and operations through audits, CCP checks, and documentation, with backup to the Quality Supervisor and daily shift reporting.

A successful candidate typically has HACCP/HARPC certification, 1–3 years in quality, and strong leadership and organizational skills for a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a quality-related field.
• HACCP/HARPC certified.
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with initiative and urgency.
• Ability to work with others to ensure compliance with procedures.
• Ability to sit, walk, and stand for up to 8 hours.
• Exposure to manufacturing environments with noise, heat, and other conditions.

Responsibilities

• Backup: Quality Supervisor, Quality Specialist.
• Make independent decisions and/or escalate issues.
• Support safety and quality training and daily events reporting.
• Verify QC analytical tests and CCP checks performed by operations team.
• Ensure adherence to OPPs per food safety plan.
• Assist with pathogen monitoring program and foreign material inspections.
• Support sanitation, pre-op inspections, swabbing, and overall execution.
• Maintain quality forms and documents and assist with lab staffing.
