Job summary

CTDI is seeking a 2nd shift Production Supervisor to coordinate and oversee the production team, ensuring targets, quality, and KPI achievement. Based in Indiana, you will lead shift operations, manage daily performance, coach staff, and collaborate with HR and management to maintain a safe, compliant production environment.

The role requires 1 year of leadership experience, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience; materials/distribution environment preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with focus on continuous improvement.
• Detail-oriented and organized with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
• Proficient leadership and interpersonal abilities with strong written and verbal communication.
• Capacity to engage with customers in a professional manner.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use.

Responsibilities

• Supervises workers who operate production machinery, assemble items, perform quality checks, or package products for shipment.
• Assigns tasks for the day, provides support with production challenges, and looks for ways to improve operations.
• Supports the team in meeting or exceeding daily KPIs through accurate reporting that aligns with customer expectations.
• Delivers clear information during shift transitions to prepare the next shift for success.
• Provides first level of support for escalated issues during the work shift.
• Maintains consistent production quality by monitoring departmental performance metrics.
• Communicates effectively with management and customers to ensure SLAs are met and issues are resolved.
• Engages in employee relations by addressing concerns and assisting HR and managers with disciplinary actions.
• Monitors timecard accuracy and resolves discrepancies according to company policies.
• Assists with temporary labor compliance by escalating attendance and performance issues appropriately.
• Contributes to a positive work environment through open communication and team collaboration.
• Assists in P&L forecasting and labor planning, and prepares daily performance reporting.
• Coordinates workflow and ensures supplies and materials are available to meet demand.
• Provides training, motivation, and support on procedures and development opportunities.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
