Job summary

CTDI is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor in Indiana to coordinate production activities, supervise workers, and ensure targets and quality standards are met. This role requires leading a team, managing KPIs, and maintaining timely reporting to customers.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of leadership experience in a materials/distribution setting, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum leadership experience; materials/distribution preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with results focus.
• Detail-oriented and organized with multi-project management ability.
• Effective verbal and written communication; customer engagement capability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use.

Responsibilities

• Supervise workers operating production machinery and packaging.
• Assign daily tasks and support production challenges; seek operational improvements.
• Help meet daily KPIs and report performance to meet customer expectations.
• Lead shift transitions with clear, concise handoffs for the next shift.
• Provide first-level support for escalated issues during shifts.
• Maintain quality by monitoring production metrics and adherence to standards.
• Communicate with management and customers to ensure SLAs are met; resolve issues promptly.
• Assist with labor planning, scheduling, and P&L forecasting as needed.
• Foster a positive, collaborative environment and support safety regulations.
